Joseph Gritzer is President of USI Securities, Inc. (a subsidiary of USI Consulting Group), a registered broker/dealer, investment advisor and insurance general agency. Located in Glastonbury, CT, the firm specializes in qualified & non-qualified retirement plans and financial solutions for business owners. He joined the firm in 2001 as its Chief Compliance Officer.

Joe has been active in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience in the areas of securities and insurance marketing, compliance and operations. His industry contributions include: serving as both a member and Chairman for the FINRA District 11 Committee and as a member and Chairman for the FINRA District 11 Nominating Committee. Joe has also been a panelist and speaker at many FINRA conferences, as well as a panelist on a number of FINRA enforcement hearings.

Prior to joining USI Securities, Joe served as the Chief Operating Officer for Essex Financial Services; Officer/Director for Phoenix Life Insurance Co. and AVP/Assistant Compliance Officer for WS Griffith & Co.; and President for Joseph J. Gritzer & Co. (a personal financial advisory firm). He started his professional career as a staff auditor with the international accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. Joe graduated cum laude, with a B.S. degree in business administration, from the University of Hartford.
