USI Consulting Group Receives Five "Best in Class" Awards from PLANSPONSOR Magazine

Glastonbury, CT - January 2009 -- USI Consulting Group, a subsidiary of USI Holdings Corporation and a Goldman Sachs Capital Partners company, announced they have received five "Best in Class" awards in PLANSPONSOR Magazine's annual Defined Contribution Survey.

Over 5,900 defined contribution plan sponsors responded to this year's survey. In the Small Market ($5MM - $50MM) Awards, USI Consulting Group ranked in the top quartile for participant services and received four "Best in Class" awards for communication materials, retiree services, reporting and account representative knowledge. In the Micro Market (<$5MM) Awards, they ranked in the top quartile for sponsor services and received a "Best in Class" award for enrollment assistance. "These awards are an illustration of our continuing effort to improve ourselves and the quality of service we provide to our clients," said Jim Kinney, President and CEO of USI Consulting Group.
